The passenger window on my 93 Ford Tempo won’t open. The motor makes the sound, but the window won’t move. DH has opened the door up, but he couldn’t tell what was hanging it up. He did lube up all the parts he could think of, using the ideas from the Family Handyman magazine. What next? A new motor/switch? How do we get it out? I paid over $200 for the last motor we had replaced in the back window, but that one wasn’t making any noise, it just stopped cold. This one sounds like the motor WANTS to make the window come back down/go up, but just can’t do it. (I browsed all the window stuff in the search menu but none of it really fits this question!)
