Olds aurora lights flashing radomly

I have a 1997 Olds Aurora and when parked or driving the lights(headlings/parklights) flash radomly for no reason. Obviously if driving with the headlights on it does not do this.

When parked for a period of time the lights will flash randomly and will evenually kill the battery.

The light switch should be the trouble here and may have to be changed out.

I agree with the cat. It sounds like the switch.

Do you know if it is only the head lights or do the parking lights also flash? It could be the head light relay, but I have never heard of one of them failing in that way.

thanks! It is ONLY THE PARK LIGHTS THAT ARE FLASHING
The headlights do not flash!

I have the same problem with a 99 Aurora.
Did a new headlight switch solve the problem?
