the oil light came on in my car when I went around a turn. I checked the level and it showed adequate level. Seems that if I step on the gas a little going around turns it doesn’t come on. Please help
It is a 92 Dodge Spirit
That light only comes on when the oil pressure drops to a level low enough to cause engine damage. Given the age it’s likely that the engine and/or oil pump are both just tired and worn. How many miles on the car?
You’re not hearing any funny noises, are you? Ticking, knocking, hammering, anything like that?
