Any national brand is fine, just change it and the oil regularly (see your owners manual).

Yes, NATIONAL brand like Fram, STP, Motorcraft, ACDelco, Napa, Mopar, Hastings , CarQuest, Wix, Purolator etc.

Not the likes of Mighty and other super-cheapo filters that use the absolute cheapest paper filter media they can get their hands on.

Price will be a dead giveaway.

Wix, Purolator, and Hastings are ‘silent partner’ manufacturers for many name brand labels. ( Motorcraft comes from the Purolator factory. )
