I loaned my chainsaw to my neighbor at the cabins, he put a new chain on, easy solution. He did enough cutting to make up for the cost I think. I don’t know that I use it enough to worry much, it cuts 4" trees and limbs, anything bigger call the tree guys.
My guys just finished taking eight down, 3-4’ (feet not inches) in diameter at the base, 60’ tall. I’d gotten two down then gave up. Paid $10 for little sticks 20 years ago and cost me dearly to get rid of them.
It is amazing how those little sticks grow up to be problems.

Isn’t that kinda what all of us ‘regulars’ do here? Offer advice to folks who may or may not knowledgeable in what they are discussing? for the discussion factor, but also to help other readers that will come along this discussion? I really don’t think Bing meant any insult or attack with their post- nor do I think it qualifies as ‘mansplaining’ more than anything else on this site would.
