I have an I30, 2000, which lugs and chugs for a minute or two til it warms up. No power, strong smell of fuel in the exhaust, and the tach goes up and down. What is the problem?
Is the CEL light on? If not, I’m suspecting a possible faulty fuel pressure regulator.
Or a faulty coolant temperature sensor.
