I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, and I was pulling a P0457 engine code. I have already replaced the gas cap and that didn’t clear it. Doing some online research, I thought it was maybe a bad Leak Detection pump. So I get under the van and start looking at hoses and evap line just to see if I could see and cracks before I try replacing the pump. I pretty quickly found the culprit.
It is a hard plastic line that runs from the Vapor Canister back to the fuel tank. It looks like some animal has been chewing on it and chewed it nearly in half.
It looks pretty simple to replace, my only problem is that I don’t know what the part is called. I’ve tried searching for various types of emission lines but nothing seems to be the line that I am looking for.
Any help to identify this part would be greatly appreciated.
