I am pressing in a new control arm bushing. The height of the bushing is longer than the control arm frame. Am I supposed to center the bushing in the frame are just press it in until it is flush with the bottom?
These are usually pressed all the way in until the rubber flange contacts the control arm. Are you working from a service manual? That should tell you for sure.
Yes I am working from a service manual, and no it does not specify on the depth of insertion of the bushing. There is no rubber “flange”.
