My Red Mini Convertible

Well, OK, it was mine for three days. I saw it on the aisle Sunday morning and knew I had to have it. I drove from LA to Santa Barbara County with the top down, then to and from work the next day. Lots of fun, great handling, and good gas mileage. The seats were comfortable, too.

I know you’ll find this hard to believe, but the driver’s side power door lock switch didn’t work, and there was only 20,000 miles on the car. Would I buy one? No way. Would I rent one again? You bet! I’m going back in a few weeks and I’m going to cruise the aisle for my red Mini convertible.

Now THAT’S what I call Southern California living!!! The only way you could do it better is if you stopped your Red Mini Convertable at a freeway underpass along the way and bought some freshly picked oranges from a guy wearing a big hat selling fruit from the back of his 1972 beat-up truck. Sweet
