Hello.
So I’ve been working on my project car and it’s almost finished. It’s a Mitsubishi Galant 2.5 V6 from 2000 with a 6A13 engine. The ABS and TCS light is on and turns out the ABS relay doesn’t make the usual “click” sound. We tried with the relay from his car, which is the same model, same engine but an automatic. Turns out that didn’t work. His relay worked again as soon as he plugged it back into his car. What should be the most logical step forward?
We checked all fuses and other relays in the car. Unfortunately, we can’t use an OBD scanner since most OBD scanners won’t work on mine or my fathers Galant. we do not know why. Anyone got ideas?
Get a wiring diagram. Get a voltmeter. Check voltage at the relay socket, check grounds at the relay socket. Check for signal at the relay socket when the ignition is turned on.
