Is there a simple way to move a power seat forward on a 2003 Buick century that has a bad motor? I am definitely not mechanically inclined so the easiest way to to it is the best.

Simple no. Remove the seat disconnect the motor or track gear, then move the seat, reassemble and hope you set it at least close to where you want, or repeat the process.

Yes, what @PvtPublic said. The reason you cannot move it easily is because it is a WORM drive type of mechanism.
There are ways around this, but only for the mechanically inclined… so…
