Any thoughts on why the low brake fluid light will stay on but fluid is not visibly down. Is there a brake problem or possibly a bad sensor ? '03 Impala, 54,000 miles
Do your brakes feel normal?
Have you tried adding some brake fluid?
Are you looking through the plastic reservoir, or did you take the cap off and look inside? Sometimes the plastic gets stained such that it looks like the fluid level is higher than it is.
I’ve seen the float get stuck too.
It’s also possible that your parking brake is partly engaged…or it’s sensor that trips the light is out of adjustment.
I think tardis has it.
