What are the strengths of this car? the weaknesses? How do they drive/ride? There are a two models near me that are in great shape overall. Thought I’d ask here to see if anyone has had experience with these models. I am looking at a 1981 and 1983.

You need to drive one, see if you like it - they’re heavy, not very fast, and use gas, but will have a comfortable, floaty ride. A ‘fun’ Mk would be a Mk VII LSC, if you can find one.
It’s not a good looker. I like the Allante better.
