Does anyone know how to disconnect daylights on a 92 ford f-250 built in canada. When the key is in the run/start position the lights are to stay on and go off when the key is off. Now the lights remain on when the key is off. I have to remove the battery cables now. Any suggestions?
Find a fuse labeled “DRL” and pull it out. This should cut power to the daytime running light relay.
There is not a fuse labeled “DRL”
Some Fords built in Canada have a plug-in DRL module. Maybe if you can find one and unplug it and throw it away, you will fix the problem. On the vehicle I am most familiar with the socket is in front of the AC evaporator, but that is a sedan, not a PU.
