daytime running lights stuck on. must pull fuses to shut off. dim lights go off and on when using dimmer switch but day lights still burn throughout.
Find the relay. The DRLs use a relay to activate the system when the engine is running. Yours may be stuck on.
The relay is a prime suspect. If it’s not the relay itself, you could have corrosion underneath it, completing the circuit and keeping them on. I have seen that happen before.

Since headlights pull fairly heavy duty current, engineers probably will want to keep the cable run short. I’d look first for the DRL relay under the hood rather than under the dash or in the trunk. A likely location might be in or near the fusebox nearest the battery.
