Leaking Ragtop

I love my 98 Saab…it is gold with a black rag top. I look adorable driving it. Runs great, etc. The trouble is it leaks when it rains. If it gets left outside in the rain, water collects and I get soaked…a mini-rainstorm when I come to a stop. What to do?

You look adorable soaking wet too…

ALL convertibles leak. That’s just a normal part of the convertible experience. If you can’t keep it in a garage, you should not own one…

Sometimes, a “Top Shop” can “re-seal” your top so the leaks diminish to an acceptable level, but they will NEVER stop completely…

Reminds me of the several British ragtops I owned . . . I kept a big towel in the area where the top folded into just to dry up the leaks and clear the windshield (inside) for rain showers. You would think that they would be better today, guess not. Follow Cayys’ advice and go to a top shop or upholstery shop. Rocketman
