Leaking convertible Roof

For the lady who has the leaky roof and water problems - be sure that you check that your rain rail (a plastic piece that seals the bottom of your convertible top) is in good shape, and that the drains are clear. Your car has several drains that take the rain that collects at the bottom of the convertible top and keeps it out of the car. These drains often get clogged by leaves and other debris, and when they are full water will overrun the “gutter” of the the rain rail and end up in your car.

As far as the hairline crack goes - there is a classic remedy. Duct tape on both sides when the top is clean and dry. Duct tape adds a certain classic “je ne sais quoi” to any fabric convertible top for a fraction of the replacement cost.
