I have a 1996 Land Rover Discovery (insert condolences here). The ABS kicks on intermittently when I am making a slow right hand turn with the brakes being applied. Such as pulling into a parking space. I’ve been told that one or both of the front speed sensors are bad. They are pricey. I’m going to replace one at a time myself. Any guesses which side would be the best to start with given that the issue is a right turn occurrence?
The money pit welcomes your efforts…Good Luck! Personally, I don’t think it’s the sensors. If that was the case, they would be sending false signals all the time, not just when you are making a turn…First, I would inspect the suspect parts for proper alignment and mounting security. Nothing loose or flopping around behind the wheels…
