My remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) doesn’t work in my 96 Chevy Impala. GM doesn’t make the part any more, and Impalas are hind to find in local junkyards.
Can I get the old one repaired ? If I can get another one, how do I calibrate it to my key fobs ?
Programming is through the grounding of pin “K” in the data link connector. I have also seen a seperate wire in the trunk (near the antenna) that eithe gets grounded or if there are two conductors you touch them together.
