I have a 2009 VW CC 6 CYL. w a dead battery, the owner’s manual says only allow an authorized dealer to service it, really? (there is only a positive terminal in the engine compartment, the battery is in the trunk)
Use the positive terminal and the engine (ground)
Or connect to the battery in the trunk, whichever is easier…
To do it from under the hood, connect the positive (+) jumper cable to the positive terminal and clamp the other (negative) to a metal bracket on the engine.
