JAG transmission

Is there a way of checking the level of tranny oil in a 2002 Jag…S-Type. I don’t see any method for accessing the transmission dip stick…if there is such a thing. Or is this strickly a dealer thing?

Put the car on a lift or jack it up. (The car must be level after it is raised.) On the transmission pan there is a co-axial plug. Unscrew the inner plug (do not loosen the outer one). If a small amount of fluid dribbles out, then the level is correct. If none comes out, then it is too low. (There is no dip-stick to find.)
