Toyota does not offer diesel engines in USA. The 4.7-liter petrol engine (your original post) was used 1998 - 2007, 4.6-liter petrol engine was used in the Lexus GX. The Land Cruiser diesel engine (used outside of the USA) has 4.5-liter displacement.
My findings are the same as what Nevada probably already knew on the diesel engine… He beat me to it…
The exhaust tip looks OEM…
The problem with you having a vehicle not sold here (new anyway) in the USA is that this is a USA based forum and all the longtime regular posters here are in the USA and we have nothing to compare your vehicle, engine or noise to… You need to find a forum or mechanic/shop that is familiar with your engine/vehicle…
But at least the pig like noise that Mustangman jokingly referred to in his post makes since now, I thought it sounded turboish (yes I know it is not a word) in the video…lol
Making up words is one if my favorite pastimes at home. Keep up the good work.
1/2 my vocabulary is made up words, just ask autocorrect and talk to text on my phone, they have no freaking idea what I am saying 1/2 the time, yet it will pick up every danged word the TV or someone else is saying just fine… I need to invent a phone for rednecks…
Well, thanx for the help anyways,im trying to find good car foums to discuss issues but still no luck

It might help if you told where you are located, But seriuosly if you think there is a problem with your engine than an independent shop or even a dealer is what you need.
I did a service from toyota recently, their check list didnt find anything but expect for the rear wiper blades which i got em replaced…
I dont think there is something wrong with it but its unsually loud when i heard another landcruiser
It got a vibration which can be felt through the dashboard during low rpms too
