If you've always wanted to own a classic Porsche

… you might want to buy some raffle tickets for this sweepstakes.

I’d prefer a ‘65 911. Looks better, drives better. But that’s me!

I can’t afford to even look at a Porsche… lol

The owners of a local 356b with 110hp just keep grinning. We see it out 9 or 10mo of the year. Local shop owned by a 2nd generation Air cooled Porsche. Fanatic keeps the variety of air cooled porsche"s.

They have to raise a minimum amount to award the car. Otherwise it’s q cut if the total. Lots of time left.

What is that sentence supposed to mean?

“A cut of the total”

A portion of the proceeds will be the winning prize.

Official rules of the raffle. They have to raise at least $150,000 from entries otherwise they only can give the winner a percentage.

If it were a TR-3 or a XK140 I might buy a ticket.

Back around 1965, Ford used to stage “Mustang Road Rallies” in order to bolster interest in Mustangs, but cars of any make could be entered in the competition. One of my classmates owned a TR-3, and I agreed to be his navigator on one of these nighttime rallies. Needless to say, because we were both rookies, we never even found the finish line.

But, the worst part was my frozen feet, as a result of the pathetically-poor heater. Also, we lost our headlights a few times on unlit rural roads with which we weren’t familiar. I’m guessing that Lucas electrical components were responsible for the intermittent headlights.

It was not a pleasant ride.

I think he may have fat figured the Q for an A… It happens…

Most of my Chrysler products had corroded headlight dimmer switches that caused intermittent headlight failure. In my case, I couldn’t blame an English ghost for my vehicle’s electrical failures.

Corvette as well for the ACD car museum. Others available ad sweepstakes through tapkat
