Hybrid 4-Seater Convertible?

Anyone know of one in the works?

Thanks!

Newport Convertible Engineering converts conventional Priuses into convertibles. Here is a link to an article about them:

yaelbelle, I think this will be your only option.

Four-seater convertibles are hard enough to find without adding the hybrid requirement. Besides, most convertible drivers want more performance than the typical anemic hybrid can give them. There aren’t enough people like you around to justify mass production of such a vehicle.

If it happens, I’d be it will be a Lexus IS250h.

A problem is locating the battery. The trunk is already much smaller than a coupe version of any car so that the top can be stowed. Adding a battery will reduce the trunk space even more.
