How serious is this bumper damage?

Hi all -

Question on the front bumper of a 2014 Hyundai Elantra.

My front driver’s side bumper was damaged in an accident many years ago. It was minor enough that I didn’t feel the need to have it repaired. Recently it seems to have become more loose; I don’t know if it was hit again, or if it happened naturally.

My questions:

  1. What is the likelihood that the bumper could fall off, or at least continue to loosen?

  2. Any ideas what this kind of repair might run me?

It is a Bumper cover and any body shop can fix this.

As for cost you will just have to get estimates from a local shop where ever you are because rates vary by location.

I have seen your pics. There is a large hidden bracket between the 2 bumper parts to hold them together.Try to snap the bumper back inside the bracket until it is secured.No special tools needed.
