I have a 1995 Escort and the drivers side power window switch broke off while the window was down. I can’t get it repaired until tomorrow and it will be parked on a Chicago street all night. I tried poking around under the switch with a tiny screwdriver but was unable to hit the spot that makes it roll up or down. If anyone knows what I can do to get the window back up it would be much appreciated.
Long story,get the door panel off and apply power to correct contact on motor,short story poke around more and see if you can find the point. One more shot pop the switch out of the armrest or door panel and jump the wires,sorry I don’t know what wires to jump. No chance of putting the passenger switch in place of the drivers? (long shot)
