1998 Honda accord 4 door’s engine has started turning off at red lights for no reason. It does not stall or ‘putter’. The engine just turns off. I wait for 5 seconds, and it starts fine. It happens every 3-5 days. Family mechanic can’t figure it out, as it has never happened while in his care. Any ideas? HELP!
If this is an automatic maybe the solenoid for the transmission is having a problem. Another possible problem is a vacuum leak in the brake booster.
