My wife was advised that her 06 Accord cannot be properly aligned without a camber kit. In 40 years of having (factory-stock) cars aligned I have never heard of this. She has used this regional chain for years and on 3 other Accords. Why was this advised? Since we have never had to pay anything other than the alignment policies, what is different now? The car is driven under 50mph most all the time, has 40,000 miles and has never been wrecked. A regular 'ol Accord!
Most Accords, and many other Japanese cars, don’t have adjustable camber. My 88 Accord needed a camber kit at about 200k miles. No accidents, but lots of rough urban streets.
I had the $19.95 kit installed on the back of my 85 Escort back in 1989.
