Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out. I turned my 96’ Cadillac Eldorado off tonight and the headlights wouldn’t shut off. When I opened the hood there was smoke and burning wire smell coming from the general direction of the fuse box. I pulled the headlight fuse out. No visible signs of damage in the fuse box itself. What could this be?
Check your owner’s manual or just look around under the hood for a headlight relay. It might be welded stuck in the on position and need replacement.
You need to closely inspect the underside of the fuse box.
