Well, you can at least strap them on the trunk. Oh Its only a two door.

Clubs and bag will fit in the trunk of a Volvo C70 retractable hardtop. It’s a true 4-seater.

I have no suggestions although the question reminded me of an old Tog Gear episode on the Jaguar XK Convertible and the need for it to carry Golf Clubs in the “Boot”.

One needs only to bring his golf clubs when he goes car hunting. Test drive the trunks with with your golf bag when the roof’s down.

When my wife bought her new Lexus
we brought our golf clubs with us to make sure both sets would fit in the trunk. The salesman couldn’t understand that we’d actually NOT buy a car because our golf clubs wouldn’t fit in the trunk.

OK, thanks to all thus far. I have a Volvo C70, Lexus-???, Sebring and I think a couple of BMWs 
 BUT I would really feel better if there were some more American makes from which to choose like the '99 Z24 that does this job with fun.
