Our Dodge Ram 1500 front windows will go down when the car is not running. After we get home we look out and both front windows are either all the way down or half way down - exactly the same height. GO out, start the car, put windows up. Look out again, same thing. We do not have a fancy clicker that opens the windows to cool the car off. What could this be?
I believe you have a bad drivers door window switch module or wiring.
I’ll throw an idea out there . . .
Any chance the windows are lowering because the window regulators have failed?
If you hear any abnormal crunching or clicking noise when lowering or raising the windows, the regulators need to be replaced
