Fuses?

I have a 2003 Acura RSX type S. The chargers won’t work and my interior lights won’t come on. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong and about how expensive it is going to be to fix?

You mentioned the first thing to look at. The fuses. Look to your owners manual for the fuses that operates the lights and the cigarette lighter.

Is there a way to tell if they are bad or not?

The owners manual will tell you where your fuse box(es)are located and which fuse is part of the accessory outlets circuit for your chargers. Also, most fuse box covers have a schematic diagram. Bad fuses must be replaced with ones of the same size and rating (same color).

Pull the fuse, and look at it. They are clear plastic, and you will see a wire run in between the two metal blades. If the wire is intact, the fuse is good. If the wire is burnt in two, and the plastic burnt and bubbled, it is bad.
