We’re copying the text to quote it, since the forum doesn’t have a real quote feature (another oddity. How much did you pay for this thing again? 
) and so the people reading the pasted quote aren’t going to need to be directed to the thread, because they’re already there reading it.

I broke the link intentionally. The feature automatically takes whatever you copy and adds “see more at” plus a link to the post. All it does is result in people having to delete the addition when quoting people in a post.
