I had a friend put in oil and they put way to much in it. Now it idles really rough, smoking, and acts like it don’t want to go. What can I do about this? Please help!
Try draining out the extra oil. If the oil level is fine now, but still running rough, there may be some damage caused by overfilling.
Put a pan under the oil pan, remove the oil drain plug and drain some of it,put the drain plug back in. Check the dip stick to make sure you have the right amount of oil
Okay I will do my best to do this. I have never drained oil out of a vehicle before but will give it a try…
