I parked the 92 Hondoa Civic in a tight space so I ususally have to “fold” the driver side mirror. Now, the mirror would not stay in that position and I suspect a spring or something was broken or loose. The mirror won’t function as it should be while I drive. Can it be fix? How to take it apart if I need to replace whole thing ? It is a manual remote side mirror. Thank you for your help in advance.
The mirror can be removed for repair or replacement. Most of these mirrors are attached at the corner of the door, and the screws are hidden by a small plastic triangle. Pry it off for access to the screws. On some cars you may have to remove the inner door panel.
