First gear slight grind once in a while?

I just found something out when trying to bleed the lines again. It seems the reservoir is leaking from the bottom where the hose goes into it. Also thats most likely the reason why I had about half down on fluid after only 3 months and driving only around 10 times. https://youtu.be/swrbns2hlgk

How do I fix this? New reservoir or hose? Or is it not attached properly? This maybe looks like the part that’s supposed to go on It? http://m.autozone.com/powertrain/clutch-hydraulic-hose/brakeware-clutch-hydraulic-hose/252742_0_0?location=

You may be able to tighten the connection up with a wrench and fix the leak. However if it was put on at an angle, cross threaded, that will make the problem worse. I’d probably completely remove that hose connection and check to make sure the threads aren’t damaged. If not, then just snug it back up again. If everything is properly aligned they don’t need much tightening force to properly seal.

Sometimes access to the connections is a problem b/c of where the clutch MC is located, in a corner and up against the firewall. I had that problem on my Corolla until I purchased some curved long nose pliers, which seem to do the job nicely.

I just ordered a brand new OEM fluid reservoir (its off a 2g eclipse and on the sale says it fits 2g eclipses but looks exactly like mine so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work) and will be replacing the hose as well so hopefully that fixes the problem.
