I have lived in the country for almost twenty years. In the past two to three years I have gone through 3 sets of ignition cables that have been chewed up by field mice . Is there anything I can put on the cables that will deter the animals ?
After I had a set of cables chewed up, I set to work on the source of the problem. I cleaned out the garage, and used a combination of live traps, old-fashioned snap traps, and poison. I have fewer things living in the garage, and the new cables are still ok.
