My 97 Maxima wouldn’t start after work yesterday. After a tow truck to my mechanic I found out something has been chewing the wires under the hood. It’s going to be expensive. How do I prevent this from happening again?

my dad had a car he left in he barn. He eventually installed one of those ultrasonic devices that plugs in and makes some type of high-pitched noice that the mice don’t appreciate. Course it probably makes all humans who listen to it for a long period of time crazy or insane. It worked for him, and they’re pretty cheap. worth a try.
