Hello. I own a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and would like to know any mechanics opinions or estimate on a fair price for a front brake job on this car which would include replacing front pads and rotors. A ballpark figure would be great. Thanks much!
Ballpark? You want ballpark? OK.
Ballpark is $200 - $600.
Depends on where you live and to whom you take the car.
You’ll feel ripped off no matter what the price, so it doesn’t matter.
Shop supplies, and all that.
Thanks, I feel soo much better now.
Rough numbers based on somewhat old history.
Rotors $25 each.
Pads, $25.
Add labor, shop supplies and overhead.
I think that a fair estimate total would be about $340, including parts, labor, supplies and materials.
