I have a 2001 Buick Century. I have replaced the motor in the windows at least 4 times. They stick, roll down all the way, won’t go up. Not so bad now, but in the rain and in winter, obviously it’s bad. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Try lubricating the window channels. Fold a paper towel twice. Use silicone spray to wet a line down the center of the folded towel. Fold the towel again so that the wet line is on the entire edge of the fold. Run the wet edge of the towel in the gasket where the window runs up and down. Repeat for all 4 windows. This may help extend the life of the motors as they won’t have to work as hard to go up or down. I assume by your note that it is jsut one window. Is that correct?
You should repeat the lubrication once a year.
