Honda cr-v automatic 2000.
I reach about 3500 revs before going into final gear, uphill, downhill or on the flat. All the other gears changes work properly as I said it’s only the last one that’s questionable.

Are you getting all the shifts even though they one is delayed? Could it be reving up in a lower gear, skipping the next, and engaging the final gear? Have you had slippng of flaring of engine speed before this happened? Is the check engine light ‘on’? Does the speedometer display correctly?
