You are correct!
Shall change post to RQB447

A speeding citation arrived today.
From photo speed van parked athe right curb. I was traveling 41 mph in 30 mph zone.

Wife say no video. Only photos.

Did you intend to change the notice number also?

Second is another notice. Speeding. S100104258

I wonder if your plates not belonging to an official agency is a factor. I could buy those lights, but using them does not make me immune to traffic laws. If so there would be a lot more of those on the road for people in a hurry.

Good point!
The vehicle is an authorized emergency vehicle approved by law enforcement. The AEV decal must be affixed to the inside of the windshield.
All law enforcement agencies through which it travels emergently are notified and given year, color, make, model, license plate, callback number, purpose and intended route of travel. (This morning I diverted from the route because traffic on the Interstate was stopped.)
(On several occasions police dispatch has called advising to take another route because of bad accidents.)

Photo Enforcement Unit emails today indicate that each violation will be canceled.
A paper letter should arrive in the mail.

Luckily the light bar spans from one roof-rack rail to the other, making it easier to mount than a shorter light bar. After long-distance transports I have removed the light bar to lessen wind drag.

Sorry to dump on you but I am sure you spent more money on an electric skillet vs a block heater then lost mileage due to wind drag for a light bar.

Electric skillet wasupportinGoodwill and $3.99.
Block heater is much morexpen$ive and a problem to install.
Skillet also warms the transmission.

Hopefully the light bar is mostly below the air stream deflected up by the windshield.
(Should stick my hand up though the open sunroof to feel the wind.)

The core plugs on that engine are very difficult to access, expect to pay $500 to $800 in labor to install a block heater.

At photo red light intersections there are two cameras.
It appears thathe camera facing the rear of the vehicle flashes first. Then the camera facing the front of the vehicle to capture driver.

My wife, registered owner of this emergencyehicle, could mail a clear photocopy of her driver license and inform that she is not the driver pictured. The violation would be dismissed. (One is not required to identify the driver of their vehicle.)

The photo speed van first photographs the front of the approaching vehicle.
Then the rear of the vehicle to capture the license plate.

In our case, the Denver Police Photo Enforcement Division accepts an e-mail explaining what is happening and has cancelled the tickets.

Somewhere I saw a newspaper article where the criminal who stole a vehicle was clearly photographed in the vehicle proceeding through a red traffic signal or speeding.

The City of Aurora, who has captured me many times, has never sent a ticket.
They have removed their photo red light cameras because some drivers have suddenly stopped and have been hit from behind.

(Since I try to make no.ise pollution, (no siren), the employee apparently sleeping in the van does noturn off the camera.)
