I have 96 Olds Cutlass and everytime I step on the brakes the low trac light comes on the lights inside and out flicker and there is clicking noise. The clicking noise sounds like when the ABS kicks in except a little faster. It seems the only time the clicking doesn’t happen is when I really get on the brakes. I recently put in a new battery, belt and a remanufactured alternator. Any input?
Obviously this will be a guess as the term ‘clicking’ may be misleading.
I’m going to suggest a faulty/shorting brake light switch at the brake pedal arm.
