There is a click when I press the brake pedal, is that indication of need for new brakes, or could it be more?
The “click” you hear might be the brake light switch activating, which is completely normal.
You didn’t tell us the year or mileage of your Vibe.
You also didn’t tell us whether this “click” is new, or has been there all along
We need to know these things.
Sorry, it’s 2005, has over 75k, just got tires rotated, they said the brakes still looked okay. This click just started last night, and doesn’t click every time I hit the brake pedal. thanks!
Are you sure it’s not coming from the actual pedal connection itself. Sometimes I get a small squeak out of the brake pedal in the winter because of the ice.
