My 2002 Windstar driver’s power door window will not go up or down, although I hear the solenoid clicking. In the beginning it would stop for a while and then suddenly start working properly for a while. It has now been over a year since it is not working. I have checked all fuses in both locations to no avail. Any tips on how I can solve this problem?
If you hear a click when attempting to operate the window, it could mean that the regulator part of the motor/regulator aasembly is malfuntioning. But the only way to find that out is to remove the inner door panel and have a look-see.
