Hi folks. I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with 166 K miles on it. I bought it used with 48K miles. I have never changed the tranny fluid. The official owner’s manual says “No check. No service required.” The transmission shifts fine thus far. Most of the miles I put on the car are highway miles, I tend to accelerate slowly and I don’t do much stop and go traffic. If I have a mechanic or tranny specialist do a drain and flush of the tranny fluid and/or filter change , will this cause my trans to start slipping and thus cause me to have to pay big bucks to get it fixed? Thanks.
