I owned a 96 Dodge Neon and its engine started to make a tapping noise. I figured that the valves were tapping due to the lack of oil in the engine. I drove it like this for awhile, so I decided to buy a new engine, shortly there after that engine made the same noise. Finally, I decided to trade it in on an 05’ Dodge Neon SXT. I have notice that this engine is also making the same tapping noise? My question is…Do all Dodge Neon’s make this noise in the engine compartment?
