Disengaging caution light

I have a 14 yr old Outback. The battery was disconnected - and when it gets hooked up again, there will be a caution light that goes on. The instructions under the hood say I need to use my key pad electronic lock to disengage the light - but I don’t have the electronic lock any more. How do I disengage the caution light to keep it from draining the battery once the battery is hooked back up?

Search e-bay for another key-pad… Or, just for fun, call a dealership parts department and maybe they have one. You could pull the fuses until the light goes off, but usually, some other more important function will also be disabled…Somewhere, there is an “electronic lock module”…If you can find it, just pull that…
