I own a 1994 Honda Accord with 200,000+ miles on it. Suddenly the Dashboard controls stopped working, and the shift lever wont shift out of Park unless I manually force it to shift by inserting key in to the slot beside the shift lever. I suspect it has something to do with the brake fuse. I am not sure though because I have no Idea where the break fuse is located. Please help.
I suspect the fuses you are after are in the dash area. Usually they are near the driver’s left side near the bottom of the dash. There is usually a panel under the hood also. If the brake lights aren’t working then I think you are correct about a power problem to the brake circuit. Get a test light probe so you can verify where power is getting to.
