The Cruise Control on my truck works intermittently. Sometimes it cuts out when I am driving and sometimes it fails to work at all (usually in the morning). Sometimes it will re engage if it cuts out and sometimes it will not re engage for hours. any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.
One common problem is a faulty brake switch. If it cuts out while driving, try raising the brake pedal with your toe and so if that action provides a temporary cure. If so, replace the switch.
Another possibility is a hiccup in your speedometer or tachometer. Note your instruments to see if they are functioning steadily.
